This Russian cat has a fascinating history to tell. He was living on the streets, where he had to work extremely hard to survive by competing with others for every morsel of food. He also had to seek shelter wherever he could.
The current cat owners told Bored Panda that they discovered him near a residential entrance.
They mentioned that he would frequently sit in the same location for an extended period of time, which made them think that he was more of a domestic cat with little experience surviving in the wild.
Even though his current owners tried to locate the cat’s owners through advertisements, nobody responded to the ads, so they decided to take the cat with them.

They already had a cat that they called Mr Black, so they decided to call this one “Ginger.” They quickly became inseparable buddies with one. Although Ginger currently resides in a safe and loving household, it is abundantly evident that Ginger’s advanced age has made life challenging for him. His favourite spot to spend time is in the family home’s backyard, where he enjoys playing in the snow and discovering new things about his environment.
This very adorable creature adores spending time with his owners, who he thinks of as members of his family, and it appears that he takes pleasure in each one of these occasions.
Ginger’s owners claim he is happier at home than when he is out and about, but he happily ventures out occasionally. In addition, they report that snow doesn’t stop him from venturing outside and that he even enjoys doing so throughout the winter months. He is a highly skilled snow player, but his games don’t generally go on for long because he has to go home.
His owners have stated that Ginger can sometimes be a bit of a troll. When he is out watching over his domain, he enjoys playing with the cats and dogs in the area. For instance, he will sit in front of the fence while a dog is barking at him and gaze at the dog.
During the warm summer months, Ginger enjoys spending time playing outside. This is the time of year when his people spend a lot of time in the garden, so he likes to check on them and see what they are working on there. If, of course, he is not personally responsible for destroying the garden beds.
Ginger’s parents believe he is a troll because he tended to taunt the cats and dogs in the neighbourhood. “For example, sitting on the fence and staring at a dog barking at him,” she said.
Ginger adores summer as well. His owners spend most of their time in the garden, and he enjoys watching what they do, listening to what they say, and observing how they move.
