Michigan was digging in an open field to drain the field when around eight feet in depth, they ran into something that was similar to wood, According to the Detroit free press reports the farmers quickly understood they had did not hit the wood but Bones.

Were they talking about a bone of a dinosaur? They asked the University of Michigan, who informed Daniel Fishers at the university’s museum of paleontology after arriving at the scence, Fisher decided that it was not the Dinosaur skeleton the farmer had found but it was a Mammoth.

Fisher and his cow workers only had one day to find the mammoth’s skeleton because farmer had to finish their work. As per the free press they found an animal head, tusks and vertebrae, and ribs. The missing pieces could have been removed by humans who might have killed the mammoth to feed.

They had been at least 30 or 50 more. Mammoth found in the state according to the free press reports. This one, fisher said to the paper. Could be possibly a Jeffersonian mammoth. A hybrid that is not as much of the same as a woolly mammoth and not quite a Columbian mammoth but still huge and magnificent, And definitely unlike what you will see in daily field work.
